Bidding for Interota 2014

Who can host interota?

Every Rotaract club or District from all over the world can apply to organize and host Interota

What are the requirements to host Interota?

Provision of accommodation for an average of 500-700 participants
An accessible location for the convention that can be reached by convenient  means of transportation
Support from local Rotary clubs and a good number of active Rotaractors to organize the event

How to apply?

  • Fill in the application
  • Send a small introduction about the bidding team
  • A letter of support from your District Governor
  • All presentation requirements and logistic ( projector , mic…etc)
    • *Please Send the application to  drr0708@gmail.com no later than October 31st 2011 with all your requirements .in addition, prepare a presentation to be presented in Interota. Note that it might be hard to provide any requirements sent after date mentioned above

    Who votes?

    After the presentations of potential host countries, all participants of Interota 2011 have the right to vote representing their opinion for Intertoa 2014 host. The voting takes place in the presence of all participants and the bid with highest number of votes is announced as Interota 2014 host.

    We would like to share ..An Everlasting experience 

    Three Egyptian Rotaractors representing a team of 30 Rotaractors had a BIG dream and high hopes of all Rotaractors in Egypt (since 2005) and travelled 1000's of miles from Cairo to Seoul in August 2008.

    Mona Arslan , Abdallah Mehelba and Moataz Sharmy were there presenting the Egyptian dream to make it real and host the Interota for the 1st time in District 2450 with the support of DG 08-09 Zakaria El Shafie and some Fellow Lebanese Rotaractors.

    For 7 days and 6 sleepless nights they executed the campaign.. Hard work, discussions, presentations, fellowship among the 450 participants ... all resulted with an amazing win of the Interota 2011 bid against Mexico, Caribbean Islands and Nigeria.

    Each and everyone has marked the dates since 08-08 to 11-11 and everyone was excited to come to Egypt although it's 3 years ahead
