Dear Rotaractors of the world,

If you are reading my word, then you are about to register to the biggest international gathering for Rotarctors that happens only every three years. The story of Interota Egypt starts with hard work and devotion since 2005 when we decided to bid to host it in our beloved homeland. 2008 marked the start of real efforts into making this dream real and this year a team of dedicated young Egyptian youth are determined to welcome you all to a life time experience of an outstanding gathering in the land of culture and beauty. Egypt has faced transition and so did our event but the real rotary spirit embedded in those unique Rotaractors of Egypt is what has driven us to striver and continue. Our passion is not to delight you with an amazing stay in Egypt, but also is to advocate the Role of Rotary in Transition.

My fellows in service , let us all gather in the newly born Egypt , Let us enjoy 5 days of exotic activities , glorious  sightseeing , passionate serving  and learning and enjoyment of great times.

Join us in the magnificent capital of the red sea Hurghada… Join us in Luxor the city with more than one third of the world's monuments… Join us in a great Rotarctive opportunity.

Interota 2011

Running for the 11th time, the Interota has finally made its way to Egypt and is being hosted in Hurghada under the theme “Peace, Education and Environment”. We believe that focusing on raising generations with good education will allow a better understanding of the world and a shared aspect of the global world can allow us to live in Peace. Interota 2011 is expected to welcome around 600 participants aged 18 to 30 from different nationalities for 5 working days where day 0 and day 6 are the arrivals and departures respectively. During our program, there are workshops, discussions, guest speakers and above all, together with the the Institute for Peace Studies, our passion for service will be directed to service projects and meaningful activities related to promoting Peace through Education and the Environment.
